Altro meraviglioso luogo visitato: Antibes! La visita è iniziata dal porto e devo dire che anche quì yacht a due, tre, fino a cinque ponti, si sprecavano!! Poi ci siamo addentrati nei vicoli che caratterizzano tutte le cittadine francesi sul mare e abbiamo scoperto negozietti, gallerie d’arte di artisti locali e un mercato coperto di prodotti tipici del luogo.
Another wonderful place visited Antibes! The visit started from the port and I must say here that two yachts, three, up to five bridges, is wasted! Then we meander the narrow streets that characterize all the French towns on the sea and found shops, art galleries, local artists and a covered market of local products
Questa era solo una delle tante bancarelle, coloratissima con tutte le spezie e le erbe… ancora oggi nel riguardare la foto risento tutti i profumi di quel mercato, wow!!
Concedendo una tregua al nostro olfatto, ci siamo poi rispostati sul mare e percorrendo una specie di “muricciolo sopraelevato” abbiamo raggiunto una gigantesca scultura che sovrastava tutto il porto di Antibes.
By giving a respite to our sense of smell, we then answered the sea and along a kind of “low wall raised” we reached a gigantic sculpture that hung over the entire port of Antibes.
This was just one of many stalls, all with colorful spices and herbs … cover still in the picture resent all the perfumes of that market, wow!
Avendo poi scoperto che ad Antibes si trova un museo interamente dedicato a Picasso… non potevo certo lasciarmelo scappare, così lo abbiamo visitato:

Il Museo Picasso è stato il primo museo al mondo ad essere totalmente dedicato a Pablo, si trova nel Palazzo Grimaldi, un castello di antichissime origini e molto bello. Il museo racconta la ‘joie de vivre’, la gioia di vivere di un ‘forestiero’ come Picasso, uno spagnolo trapiantato nei profumi della Francia mediterranea. Aveva persino pensato di comprarselo il castello, ma venne acquistato dall’amministrazione comunale della città. Negli anni quaranta però, al secondo piano, riuscì a crearvi un atelier artistico, un locale che riuscì ad adibire a studio, dove furono creati molti dei suoi quadri.
The Picasso Museum was the first museum in the world to be totally dedicated to Pablo, is in the Palazzo Grimaldi, a house of very ancient and very beautiful. The museum tells the “joie de vivre”, the joy of living an “outsider” like Picasso, a Spaniard transplanted in the scents of Mediterranean France. He had even thought to buy it, the castle, but was bought by the municipality of the city. In the forties, however, on the second floor, succeeded in having to set up an artist’s studio, a place that was able to use as a studio, where many of his paintings were created.
Dopo questa parentesi culturale mi è preso un certo languorino… la mia non era proprio fame, ma più voglia di qualcosa di buono… per cui non essendoci Ambrogio nei paraggi, ho voluto provare i famosi macaron.
Ormai vanno così tanto di moda, che sono quasi più famosi a Milano che in Francia… così mi sono detta che dovevo assolutamente assaggiarli! Sono buoni, morbidi e anche se somigliano vagamente ai nostri “baci di dama” sono più come dei pasticcini, ognuno ha un suo gusto nella glassa che li ricopre e nel ripieno. Comunque… tutta questa “sensazione” intorno a questi dolcetti… me pare esagerata!!
